Solar Spotlight Event

During Black History Month, ComEd brought Chicagoland students together with engineering mentors to learn about careers in  STEM while building "solar suitcases". Once built, these portable energy generators were deployed to areas in need of emergency power for lights, cell phones and computers. As we helped ComEd carry this out, we also covered it and hyped up local media leading up to the event.
